Leica’s all-new Calonox Sight SE thermal clip-on continues our long, successful track record in digital image optimization, now at a more accessible price point. We achieved this by simplifying our industry-leading Calonox Sight, which offers BlueTooth connectivity and has dual use capability as both a handheld observation device and as a clip-on sight. Calonox Sight SE is not intended for dual use, but rather as a clip-on, only, and has no BlueTooth connectivity. Otherwise, it offers the same industry-leading thermal performance, precision, and durability of Calonox Sight.

Thanks to our proprietary LIO (Leica Image Optimization), Calonox Sight SE enhances thermal images via special algorithms, achieving particularly detailed color gradations, excellent contrast, and high detail resolution not available in similarly priced thermal clip-ons.

Leica Calonox Sight SE can detect 1.7 x 0.5 m targets up to a distance of 2,000 meters, recognize them up to 700 m, and precisely identify them up to 350 m. This outstanding capability is made possible by a high-end vanadium oxide (VOx) sensor with 384 x 288 pixels, 17 m pixel size, and excellent temperature resolution. Calonox Sight SEs 42-mm objective provides a large field of view, ideal for close-up observation and optimum overview at long range.

Calonox Sight SE is equipped with 1x magnification (optimal for clip-on use). It offers 4 saveable rifle profiles (3 for scopes with a minimum magnification of 1-3x, and one for a scope with 4-5x minimum magnification), allowing you to switch between multiple rifles without having to re-zero your Calonox. It also provides the user 4 temperature display modes: white hot, black hot, red hot, and color gradient. Finally, thanks to its one-piece construction, Calonox Sight SE offers industry-leading reliability and a consistently precise, repeatable point of impact, and guaranteed return to zero of maximum 2cm shift between installation, zero, removal and reinstallation. However, 1cm POI shift is the maximum we have observed.

An adapter from Rusan or Recknagel is required to mount your Calonox Sight to your riflescope.
